Project Description

Almanar is an up-and-coming community in Makkah, offering a serene lifestyle in close proximity to the holy sites. Life in the community is enriched with vibrant communal areas, cafés, and family oriented spaces. With amenities like kid’s playgrounds, cycling routes, and pedestrian walkways, Almanar promotes a conscious lifestyle within short distance from Makkah.

To assist ROSHN in presenting Almanar’s community life, Virtuelle developed an immersive Virtual Reality experience using Unreal Engine 5. This experience was designed to be viewed both with a VR headset, as well as on a large screen and controlled via gamepad. Prospective buyers and sales advisors could explore Almanar’s amenities, parks, and walkable pathways in lifelike detail. The experience also allowed users to enter selected units, visualize 2 different interior designs, and gain a true sense of the layout and volume.

The real-time 3D experience featured 2 lighting scenarios–one during the afternoon and one in the early evening–to help buyers imagine their life there. Gentle movement in the vegetation and spatial audio such as distant conversation, created an engaging and realistic ambiance in the community. This approach helped buyers understand not just the properties but the quality of life Almanar offers, ultimately accelerating informed purchase decisions and building trust in the project.
