Sanlorenzo, a global leading superyacht shipyard, launched the brand new SP92 at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. They wanted to provide their sales and designs team with immersive tools to enhance client interactions, and help prospective buyers visualise with different interior design options.
We created an interactive immersive experience in Unreal Engine 5. This allowed the Sanlorenzo sales team to guide clients through the yacht thanks to a fully walkable experience.
Since the only physical yacht available for viewing had quite unique interiors, the experience also incorporates 3 interior design themes. This allowed interior designers to show different designs while on board the yacht. Clients could compare the real thing and the virtual version seamlessly, allowing them to instantly understand the differences and select their preferred option instantly.
The virtual experience also included the possibility to change environments, offering different skylines to help clients imagine themselves cruising in their home seas. Weather and time controls also made it possible to create various emotional moments such as sunrise, sunset and night - a perfect moment to visualise the yacht’s underwater lights.
The experience was deployed on the web via pixel stream, so that sales personnel could access the virtual experience on their mobile device while on board the yacht with clients. The experience was also visible on a large HDTV connected to a high performance PC in a private room, allowing for more intimate presentations.
